Captain \ Tarik Shaheen, Chairman of The General Authority of Alexandria Port, said that: The port witnesses an activity in the work movement, Saturday September 26th 2020, there were 69 ships, 9 ships arrived, 10 ships left, the number of ships operating on the berths in stevedoring reached to be 24 ships, among them container ships, petroleum ships, general cargo ships, being unloaded, also there are 2 ships in the internal anchor, 13 ships in the outer anchor, 3792 general trucks entered and exited the port during the last 24 hours. One cargo train exit the Port 25 carriages floaded with wheat headed to mills in Cairo. Stevedoring to imported cargoes with weight 64 thousand tons are being unloaded, exported cargoes with weight 39 thousand tons are being loaded, the number of exported containers reached to be 996 containers, while the number of imports reached to be 1200 containers. 26/9/2020
