Captain \ Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, accompanied by Major General \ Ezzat Abdel Qader, Director of the General Administration of Port Police and the specialists, received the cruise ship Celestyel Crystal coming from Greece with 1000 tourists of different nationalities in addition to the crew of 400 individuals. Captain \ Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, said that the Berths and sidewalks of the Passenger Terminal were decorated with flowers on the first days of 2020, to rejoice the arrival of the fifth flight of this ship, adding that the Ship Movement and Marine Services Departments and the Pilots at the port succeeded in mooring the ship to the Marine Passenger Station with high professionalism despite bad weather conditions. Reda El-Ghandour, the formal speaker of A.P.A, said that the Public Relations Department has coordinated with the Tourism Police and the Regional Commission for the Promotion of Tourism and the specialists to be present at the Passenger Terminal since the arrival of the ship at five thirty in the morning of Wednesday, to receive the ship and tourists, and to appear in the appropriate appearance in our beloved homeland Egypt, and to ensure the welfare of tourists and their exit from the port easily and safely. Al-Ghandour confirmed the regularity of work movement at the Ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, and the continued readiness of the Operations Center, Marine Services, Port Radio, Ship Movement, and Rescue Units to receive any distress signals from ships and deal with them immediately. 1 Jan 2020
