Despite bad weather conditions, 1028 tourists of different nationalities arrived at the port of Alexandria on board the cruise ship Celestyel Crystal
Captain \ Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, accompanied by port leaders and specialists, received the Celestyel Crystal Cruise Ship coming from Greece with 1028 tourists of different nationalities in addition to the crew of 400. Captain \ Tareq Shaheen, head of Alexandria Port Authority, said that the movement of ships and marine services and the guides at the port succeeded in mooring the ship at the marine passenger terminal with high professionalism despite bad weather conditions. Captain \ Tariq Shaheen, had instructed the specialized in the port, to be present at the passenger terminal since the arrival of the ship at five thirty on Wednesday morning. Also, Captain \ Shaheen coordinated with Major General \ Izzat Abdel Qadir, Director of the General Administration of Port Police to raise the degree of preperations and readiness, as well as receiving the ship & tourists with decent and appropriate appearance of security and police services to be sure of tourists getting down and grouped and to depart the port safely and easily. Reda El-Ghandour, added This is the fourth cruise of ship "Celestyel" among a number of regular voyages to Alexandria Port. Al-Ghandour, stressed the regularity of work movement at the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, and continued the operations center, marine services, port radio, ship movement, and rescue units to receive any distress signals from ships and deal with them immediately. 12/25/2019
