Activity in trucks, cargoes and ships movement in Alexandria port Mr./Reda Elghandour – the formal spokesman of A.P.A declared that the porthas a great level activity of activity today Thursday 18 July 2019 where thereare 129 ships in the port, 37 ships are mooring on berths and they weredischarged, such as (Goudy El Armar) from Russia with 28000 ton wheat,(Waged) that came from Russia with 30000 ton wheat, the ship (ShandongFood) that came from Ukraine with 68000 ton Soya Bean, the ship (Luky lady)that came from France with 30000 ton Soya, the ship (Midi Ego) that camefrom Russia with 34000 ton Maize, it is unloading the Cock Coal cargo 54000ton from France on the ships (Spy Orion),Gasoline cargo which weights 31000ton came from Italy on the Ship (Liskaneara M), in the outer anchorage thereare 27 ships, in the inner anchor 11 ships.Mr. /Reda Elghandour added the port has a high level of activity in trucks andtrains movement where there was a train with 1500 ton of wheat exitAlexandria port and it was going to the grinds in Shobra, departed also fromElDekheila port with 1000 ton of coke cargo of 1000 ton that going to ElTebin,there were 10872 G. Cargo trucks enter and exit to and from the port during 24hours, the storage of grains in the port reached to 195000 ton wheat.Admiral / Medhat Attia the chairman of A.P.A has ordered the concerneddepartments to coordinate and cooperate with other departments to facilitate allthe procedures and overcome the obstacles to guarantee truck movement, shipsand cargoes to and from the Port safely.18-7-2019
