Due to the bad weather and fluctuations in the wind & water conditions, such as high waves and wind speed, for the sake of persons and properties, Alexandria Port Authority strait was closed today, 16th of Feb. at 5 pm until the weather conditions improved. Captain\ Tarik Shaheen, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, directed all the competent departments to raise the degree of readiness and continue to follow up the weather observations periodically of wind speed, wave height and air pressure, to take all precautionary measures to preserve persons and properties.
