The port of Alexandria witnessed a significant increase in most types of ships during July 2023 compared to July 2022, as the number of ships reached to be 375 ships, an increase of 63 ships compared to the same month of the previous year, with an increase of approximately 20.1%. General cargo ships were at the topped up cargo ships, which witnessed a significant increase during the month of July 2023 compared to July 2022, which achieved an increase of 54.6% Adifference of 47 cargo ships from the same month of last year. Bulk vessels witnessed a significant increase during July 2023 compared to July 2022, with 6 additional vessels loaded with important liquid strategic commodities such as petroleum, achieving an increase of more than 19.3%. In the same context, container ships also witnessed an increase by 19 additional vessels during July of this year, compared to the same month of the previous year, with an increase of 17.7%.
