The port witnesses an activity in the work movement in Friday October 2 th 2020, there were 72 ships, 13 ships arrived, 15 ships left, the number of ships operating on the berths in stevedoring reached to be 34 ships, among them 3 container ships, 5 Liquid Bulk ships, 15 general cargo ships, 10 Dry Bulk and 1 ferry, being unloaded, also there are 1 ships in the internal anchor, 11 ships in the outer anchor, ready ships will enter according to berthing priorities, 9380 general trucks entered and exited the port during the last 24 hours, One cargo train exit the Port 25 carriages loaded with wheat headed to mills in Shobra - Cairo. Stevedoring to imported cargoes with weight 92737 tons are being unloaded, exported cargoes with weight 21710 tons are being loaded, the number of exported containers reached to be 671 containers, while the number of imports reached to be 781 containers. Handled cargoes reached to be 114447 tons, 14520 ton Containerized cargoes, 11407 ton General Cargoes, 71620 ton Dry Bulk cargoes, 16900 Liquid Bulk Cargoes.
