The handling and navigation movement at the General Authority of Alexandria Port witnessed remarkable activity during the last 24 hours, as 30 ships entered and exited in 24 hours to the berths of Alexandria and Dekheila ports. Work is currently underway to load and unload 35 ships, most notably container ships, dry bulk and liquid cargoes, and. 2,514 T.E.U equivalent containers were handled within 24 hours. Regarding the movement of cargoes handling in the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, approximately 90 thousand tons were handled during that period of various types of goods and strategic goods, including liquid bulk, dry bulk, general goods, and transit.
