The port witnesses an activity in the work movement in Wednesday October 3 th 2020, there were 70 ships, 12 ships arrived, 8 ships left, the number of ships operating on the berths in stevedoring reached to be 37 ships, among them 3 container ships, 5 Liquid Bulk ships, 16 general cargo ships, 13 Dry Bulk, being unloaded, also there are 1 ships in the internal anchor, ready ships will enter according to berthing priorities, 3837 general trucks entered and exited the port during the last 24 hours, One cargo train exit the Port 25 carriages loaded with wheat headed to mills in Cairo. Stevedoring to imported cargoes with weight 76436 tons are being unloaded, exported cargoes with weight 22260 tons are being loaded, the number of exported containers reached to be 726 containers, while the number of imports reached to be 952 containers. Handled cargoes reached to be 99 thousand tons, 16780 ton Containerized cargoes, 10068 ton General Cargoes, 54948 ton Dry Bulk cargoes, 16900 Liquid Bulk Cargoes.
