The Alexandria Port Authority, headed by Major General Ahmed Abdel Moaty Hawash, Chairman of the Board of Directors - and under the auspices of the Trade Union Committee for Workers and the Training Department - hosted an educational seminar for the Authority's employees today, Monday, August 26, 2024, presented by the Postgraduate Studies Unit, Faculty of Business, Alexandria University, to raise the intellectual, scientific and cultural awareness of port workers in the context of professional master's and doctoral programs in the field of accounting and finance. This seminar comes within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Alexandria Port Authority and Alexandria University. Based on the port's general policy towards supporting, developing and qualifying youth cadres and developing the human element. The seminar was chaired on behalf of Alexandria University by Professor Dr. Effat El-Sawy, Professor and Head of the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Business, Alexandria University - and Mr. Dr. Bassam Fouad - Department Accounting, Faculty of Business, Alexandria University.
