Reda ElGhandour the formal speaker of Alexandria Port Authority said: that the port witnesses an activity in work flow Sunday 12th of June 2020, whereas 64 ships where in the port, 7 ships arrived, 6 ships Departed the port, 20 Ships in berths operating stevedoring, 1 of them are Containers ships, 12 General Cargo, 4 Liquid Bulk they are unloaded, 2 in the inner anchor carrying 101 thousand tons of coal and Soya, 10 in the outer anchor, 9623 General trucks interred & exited the port from & to the port during the past 24 hours. Captain \ Tarek Shaheen – Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority – Said: Department of Cargoes Movements registered and followed up stevedoring movements works, whereas unloading imports weighs 73 thousand tons, loading exports weighs 15 thousand tons, exported containers reached 1066 TEU's, while imported containers reached 693 TEU's. From another side Captain \ Tarek Shaheen Chairman of APA – Directed the leaders to do their best to increase stevedoring ratios, he also directed to co-operate and coordinate with other concerned authorities to facilitate all procedures surmounting obstacle insuring entrance and exiting of trucks and cargoes Safely and easily, he stressed on the necessity of continuation taking all precautionary procedures which endorsed by the Egyptian government and WHO (World Health Organization) for protection from new Corona virus. 12/7/2020
