Captain \ Tarek Shahen the chairman of APA said that : the port witnesses an activity of work today Monday 28th December 2020 where there is in the port 70 ships , also 10 ships arrived to the port, 12 ships departed the number of the working ships in berths reached to be 25 ships, 3 container ships, 3 petroleum ships, 16 general cargo ships, 3 internal anchor, 9115 general trucks exited and entered to and from the port during the last 24 hours, also 2 cargo trains departed with a total of 50 carriages loaded with 50 containers 40" (feet) headed for Damietta. Unloading ship "Apart Lyra" from Russia with 30 thousand tons of scrap. On the other hand, MR. / Reda Elghandour the formal speaker of APA added that: all working departments in the port are doing all protection procedures to protect from emerging corona virus and taking the occupational health and safety procedures to keep the souls and possessions, it is also coordinating with all concerned departments to facilitate and accelerate the enter and exit the cargoes, ships and trucks to reduce the waiting time of the ships and cargoes. 28/12/2020
