Alexandria port witnessed noticeable activity during the last 24 hours in the shipping & cargoes handling movement, total handled cargoes imports & exports at Alexandria & Dekheila ports, reached to be 177,134 ton, handled containers imports & Exports reached to be 1,510 T.E.U., 9,977 trucks entered & exited through Alexandria & Dekheila ports gates, in the same context total arrival & departure ships reached to be 27 ship, stevedoring ships reached to be 38 ship, among containers, petroleum, general cargoes ships, two trains departed one with 24 carriages of grains to Asseut, the other with 25 carriages of containers to Damietta, it is expected that this activity will continue in both shipping and handling movement significantly during the next hours, Captain / Tarek Shaheen Chairman of APA stressed the need to take all precautionary and preventive measures taken to confront the Corona pandemic, as well as a warning to maintain the isometric environmental standards and the cleanliness of the water and land surface. 8/3/2021
