Trading and navigation traffic at the General Authority of Alexandria Port witnessed great activity during the past 48 hours. 50 ships entered and exited in 48 hours to the docks of Alexandria and Dekheila ports, and work is currently underway to load and unload 30 ships, most notably container, dry and liquid bulk ships. Container handling also witnessed great activity within 48 hours, as 3,785 equivalent containers were traded, with a remarkable convergence between the number of imported and exported containers, as outgoing containers constituted approximately 44% of the volume of containers traded.
