For trade and logistics Dry bulk goods also witnessed a significant increase in trading volume during the month of July 2024 compared to the month of July 2023, by approximately 63%, as approximately 2.7 million tons were traded during this month, while 1.6 million tons were traded during the same month in 2023. These increases in the trading movement of various types of goods resulted in an increase in the total trading volume during the month of July 2024 to 6.1 million tons, an increase of 39.3% compared to the month of July 2023.In a related context, ship traffic, in turn, witnessed a noticeable increase during the month of July 2024 compared to the month of July 2023, as liquid bulk ships topped the highest type of ships by 35.1%, with a total number of 50 ships, followed in the percentage of increase over the same month of the previous year by container ships by 26.2%. almost. The percentage increase in the number of dry bulk ships during July 2024 compared to July 2023 was about 23.5%, followed by ferries with an increase of 18.2%.
