Handling and navigation activities at the Alexandria Port Authority were regular over the past 24 hours where 54 vessels loading and unloading, most notably 38 general cargo vessels and 9 container ships. Twenty-five ships entered and exited the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila. Regarding cargo handling at the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, approximately 118,000 tons of various types of goods and strategic commodities were handled during this period, in addition to other quantities of containerized and transit goods. 3,320 TEUs were handled over the 24-hour period, with 1,720 TEUs imported and 1,600 exported, representing approximately 48.2% of the total. This represents a significant convergence between the number of imported and imported containers. Where 4,428 trucks entered the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, and 4,514 trucks exited, for a total of 8,942. A truck was dispatched within 24 hours, and a train consisting of 25 cars carrying 1,625 tons of grain was shipped to Beni Suef.
