The berthes of the Alexandria Port Authority's marine passenger terminal received this morning 12 September 2024 the luxury tourist yacht ( OCEAN DREAM WALKER ) which is classified among the top 10 most luxurious yachts in the world the agency of Kadmar and coming from Sharm El-Sheikh with 12 individuals of different nationalities on board. It is mentioned that this yacht which holds the Marshall Islands nationality has a helipad on board is approximately 47 m long, 10 m wide, and its draft at full load reaches 2.8 m. Its maximum speed reaches to be 15 knots and it carries the IMO registration number: 9840087. Major General / Ahmed Hawash, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Port Authority directed all concerned departments to take all necessary measures to facilitate the yacht's berthing and to maintain its safety and security throughout its presence on the port docks and provide all types of assistance to its passengers and crew within the framework of the state’s keenness to support yacht tourism and attract this important type of tourism to Egyptian seaports .
