The movement of trading and navigation at the Alexandria Port Authority was regular during the past 24 hours, as the volume of goods handled at the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila amounted to approximately 209 thousand tons during that period of various types of goods and strategic commodities, in addition to other quantities of containerized and transit goods. The most prominent of these are dry bulk goods, the volume of which amounted to 127.3 thousand tons. 2630 TEUs were also handled during 24 hours, as the number of imported containers amounted to 1320 TEUs, while the number of exported containers amounted to 1050 containers, representing approximately 44.3%, which constitutes a great convergence between exported and imported containers, in addition to 260 transit containers. With regard to the movement of ships, work was done to load and unload 40 ships, which are 20 general cargo ships, 12 dry bulk ships, 4 liquid bulk ships, and 3 container ships, in addition to one ferry.
