Captain \ Tarek Shaheen – Chairman of Alexandria port Authority said that : the port witnesses an activity in cargos ,trucks and ships movement today Thuesday 11th December 2020 where there is in the port 72 ships , also 11ships arrived to the port, 12 ships departed the number of the working ships in berths reached to be 35 ships, 11627 of general cargo trucks exited and entered to and from the port during the last 24 hours, also a cargo train departed with 22 carriages loaded with wheat headed for the mills in Cairo. Now it is unloading imported cargos which weight 116023 ton, it is loading exported cargoes which weight 23930 ton, the number of exported containers 343, while the number of imported containers 1585, handled quantity reached to be 139953 ton. from another hand MR / Reda Elghandour the formal speaker of the port said that: the port received the ferry "Globus Sky" with 1728 new cars on board, 27 buses, 8 metro carriages all unloaded, ElGhandour assured that: all working departments in the port are doing all protection procedures to protect from emerging corona virus, taking the occupational health and safety procedures to keep the soul and possessions, it is also coordinating with all specific departments to facilitate and accelerate the enter and exit the cargoes, ships and trucks to reduce the waiting time of the ships and cargoes, raising stevedoring ratios in the port 10/12/2020
