Allowing transit to be included on the customs authority’s window system, which has been linked to the electronic system of the Alexandria Port Authority, in coordination with the navigation chambers, within the framework of governance, transparency, and the state’s directives towards tightening control over border crossings in order to preserve the state’s hard currency resources and to preserve public security and the state’s capabilities. Providing all necessary facilities and discounts to encourage transit trade, including the creation of a customer service center whose tasks include receiving documents, receiving requests and complaints, and providing the possibility of electronic payment.
