Shaheen added : 8404 general trucks entered and exited the port, one cargo train departed the port 22 carriages during the last 24 hours. Reda ElGhandour the formal speaker of the port said that: cargo movement department registered and followed up stevedoring, imported cargoes with weight 92028 tons are being unloaded, exported cargoes with weight 29530 tons are being loaded, the number of exported containers 403, while the number of imported containers reached to be 994 containers, Reda ElGhandour the formal speaker of the port added that: Chairman of the authority directed the concerned departments to facilitate, accelerates enter and exit, of trucks and cargoes, also to make the best effort to increase the stevedoring ratios, with taking all precautionary measures to protect from the emerging corona virus. 1/11/2020
