The General Authority of Alexandria Port participated in the international conference LIFE4MEDECA, which was held in the Delegations Hall of the Library of Alexandria on September 18-19, 2023, where the conference discussed the plan to move to green in Mediterranean ports. The conference was headed by the European Union Commission in Egypt - the Italian Livorno Port Authority. The conference included senior officials from the European Commission, environmental officials and experts from all countries of the Mediterranean basin, as well as port experts (Algeria - Tunisia - Greece - Spain), in the presence of the leadership of the Alexandria Port Authority and the administration.
