Within the framework of the solidarity of all state agencies concerned with tourism to implement the directives of the political leadership towards encouraging tourism and the instructions of Lieutenant General / Kamel El-Wazir - Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, the Alexandria Port Authority, headed by Major General / Ahmed Hawash - Chairman of the Board of Directors - received the cruise ship MEIN SCHIFF 6 this morning, Tuesday 10/29/2024 at exactly six o'clock in the morning.It is noteworthy that the Maltese cruise ship MEIN SCHIFF 6 has docked at the Alexandria Port Authority’s marine passenger terminal, carrying 3,716 passengers, including about 2,800 tourists coming from Heraklion Port, and is scheduled to depart at exactly 12:00 PM today, heading to Rhodes Port. The ship was received by a number of the leadership of the Alexandria Port Authority, represented by the Ministry of Transport, as well as the Ministry of Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, the Alexandria Governorate, represented by the Regional Authority for Tourism Promotion, and the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Administration of Alexandria Port Police. The passengers were received and their procedures were completed in a few minutes to start their tourist program to the tourist, historical and cultural landmarks. The Alexandria Port Authority was also keen to accompany the tugs and guidance and insurance launches for the ship since its arrival, as well as to closely monitor the movement of ships from the radar guidance tower.
