The passengers were received by the Alexandria Port Authority's General Department of Passenger Traffic, and their procedures were completed within minutes to begin their tour program to visit tourist, historical, and cultural landmarks. The Alexandria Port Authority also ensured that tugs and pilot boats accompanied and secured the ship from its arrival, as well as closely monitoring ship movements from the radar tower. The Alexandria Port Authority prepared a lavish reception for the ship and the tourists, including artistic performances by the Storm Troupe, led by artist Ahmed Heikal. Souvenirs were also presented, as part of the state's efforts to encourage maritime tourism in Egyptian ports.
