Work is currently underway to load and unload 34 ships, including 18 general cargo ships, 11 dry bulk ships, 3 liquid bulk ships, a container ship and a ferry. 2409 TEUs were also handled during 24 hours, as the number of imported containers reached 1211 TEUs, while the number of exported containers reached 1198 containers, representing approximately 49.7%, which constitutes a near equality between exported and imported containers. With regard to the movement of goods handling at the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, approximately 115.7 thousand tons were handled during that period of various types of goods and strategic commodities, including liquid bulk, dry bulk and general goods And transit.
