Alexandria Port witnessed a significant increase in most types of ships during the month of August 2023 compared to August 2022, as the number of ships reached to be 400 ships, an increase of 55 ships over the same month of the previous year, an increase of approximately 15.9%. General cargo ships were at the forefront of cargo ships that witnessed a significant increase during the month of August 2023 compared to August 2022, which achieved an increase rate of 33%, a difference of 32 cargo ships over the same month of last year.
