The navigation traffic at the General Authority of Alexandria Port witnessed a significant increase in most types of ships during the month of March 2023 compared to the previous month, as the number of ships during the month of March reached 404 ships, an increase of 120 ships compared to February, at a rate of 42.2%, an increase rate. Bulk vessels topped the ships that witnessed an increase during the month of March compared to February by 91%, followed by ferries by 83.2%, then general cargo vessels by 41.3%. The authority also witnessed a significant increase in container ships during the month of March, as 153 container ships called the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila, with an increase of 42 vessels compared to February, which had reached 111 container ships.
