Major General / Nihad Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Port Authority, instructed all sectors concerned with the port to take all insurance measures and maintain the continuity of work efficiently and regularly around the clock throughout the days of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr The movement of navigation and the circulation of goods in the Alexandria Port Authority has been organized during the past forty-eight hours. The movement of incoming and outgoing container handling witnessed a remarkable activity, as the number of containers handled in Alexandria and Dekheila ports reached 2187 TEUs. About 175 thousand tons were traded within 48 hours of goods of various types and strategic goods including liquid control, dry lizards and general goods. In a related context, the navigational movement in the Alexandria and Dekheila ports witnessed remarkable activity, as 51 ships entered and exited to the berths of the two ports, and work is currently underway to load and unload 35 ships on 28/4/2022.
