Regulating cargoes handling and shipping movement in A.P.A during the last 48 hours, where the total amount of handling cargoes import & export in Alexandria & El Dekheila ports nearly 177,000 tons, and the number of handling containers import & export reached to be 1752 TEU, in the same time 52 ships the total number of the ships arrived & departed the port during the last 48 hours, the number of ships which do the operations of stevedoring had reached to be 34 ship among containers, petroleum and general cargoes ships, Alexandria Port Authority has taken advantage of the multimodal transport capabilities available, also 22,000 trucks entered & exited through Alexandria & El Dekheila ports gates, , 4 trains consisting of 100 carriages loaded with wheat departed, Captain \ Tarek Shaheen – Chairman of A.P.A has stressed to take all the precautionary procedures, protective to face corona virus pandemic , also keeping the standards of environmental specifications and cleanliness of land & water surface. 03/06/2021
