The movement of navigation and the handling of goods in the General Authority of the Port of Alexandria witnessed a remarkable activity during the past 48 hours, as 49 ships entered and exited the berths of the ports of Alexandria and El Dekheila within 48 hours, and work is currently underway to stevedore 31 ships, most of them are container ships and dry and liquid bulk. Goods handling, as approximately 107,142 thousand tons were handled most of them are various types of goods and strategic commodities such as liquid bulk, dry bulk and general cargo. With regard to containers, about 2679 TEUs were handled in the ports of Alexandria and ElDekheila.
