Activity in trucks, cargoes and ships movement in Alexandria port
Mr./ Reda ElGandour – the formal speaker of A.P.A declared that the port has a great activity in the work movement today Thursday 31-1-2019 where there are 141 ships, there are 39 ship and they are unloading such as (Peter Star)that came from Russia and it had 40000ton of wheat, the ship (Benzay) that came from France and it had 63000ton of wheat, the ship (Agia Marina) that came from Russia and it had 29000ton of wheat and we are unloading a maize cargo that weight 54000ton that came from Ukraine on the ship (Zein Ziang Hay), Soya cargo that weight 16000ton which came from Ukraine on the ship (Ideal), there are in the outer anchor 34 ship and in the inner anchor we are unloading 14 ship and three from them are unloading 14500t of coke charcoal and three ships from them are unloading timber, three ships are unloading barley, soya and urea. Mr. /ElGandour added that the port has a great activity in the movement of trains, trailers and river ships where exit from the port three trains, two from them are loaded with 3000t of wheat they are going towards the grinds in Embaba, another train that loaded with 1000t of coke charcoal where it is going to ElTebeen, and it exit from ElHawees ElMaleh two river ship and they loaded with 3000t coke charcoal, and there are 11220 enter and exit general trailer to and from the port, the grains store in the port had reached million ton and 300000 ton of wheat. Admiral / Medhat Attya – the chairman of A.P.A has directed the nominated departments to coordinate and cooperate with the nominated departments to facilitate all procedures and finish the obstacles to secure the entrance and exit of trailers, ships and cargoes to and from the port in a secure figure. 31-1-2019
