Alexandria port Authority witnessed an activity in cargoes handling and shipping movement during the last 48 hours, where the total size of handling cargoes import & export in Alexandria & ElDekheila ports 262000 tons and number of handling containers import & export reached to be 2919 TEU, 10618 trucks entered & exited through Alexandria & ElDekheila ports gates, in the same time the total number arrival & departure ships 54 ships during the last 48 hours, ship do the operations of stevedoring had reached to be 30 ship among containers, petroleum and general cargoes ships, its expected this activity in cargoes handling and shipping movement will continue during the coming hours, Captain \ Tarek Shaheen – Chairman of A.P.A has stressed to take all the precautionary procedures, protective to face corona virus, also keeping the standards of environmental specifications and cleanliness of land & water surface. 04/04/2021
