The General Authority of Alexandria Port, headed by Mr. Captain / Tarek Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was keen to continue working efficiently and regularly around the clock throughout the days of the Al-Adha feast holiday without interruption. It completed its work and left the port 162 ships, including container ships, petroleum, general cargo and grain. The movement of goods handling in the Alexandria Port General Authority has also witnessed remarkable activity. The total imported and exported goods traded at Alexandria and Dekheila ports amounted to nearly 900 thousand tons, and the number of imported and exported containers reached 8327 TEUs. For his part, Mr. Rabban / Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stressed that the continuity of work in the port and the keenness on the efficiency of the trading and navigation movements and the preservation of standard environmental standards and the cleanliness of the water and land surface comes within the framework of the Authority’s awareness of its national role as the largest ports of the Republic and a strategic outlet for more than 65% of the Egypt's foreign trade volume. 25/7/2021
