A study to provide low-sulfur fuel oil with a sulfur emissions rate of no more than 0.5% in Alexandria port to supply vessels that are hesitant on the port

Captain \ Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, said that in light of the political leadership’s interest in strategic ports, including Alexandria Port, within the framework of directives of the Minister of Transport Lieutenant General Engineer / Kamel ElWazer - for raising of logistical services provided to ships, to limit the proposed daily or weekly demand for fuel with a sulfur emissions ratio that does not exceed 0.5% we are seeking in coordination with the Ministry of Petroleum, represented by the Alexandria Petroleum Company, to provide low-sulfur fuel oil in the Port of Alexandria, facilitate to ships as the case in the port of Zaiteat, Suez. It is notable that this product was produced in the Suez region, Alexandria Petroleum Company provided marine units and launches to transport the product so that ships can be supplied in the Alexandria region if there are supply requests.
